Hi dIon,

just for curiosity: Which sh on which system? I am using this on Cygwin where sh != 
bash applies also. Cygwin's default sh is ash.

Probably we can change the shebang line to bash ?

Description:
The maven shell script had support for whitspaces in parameters until this change:
http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/maven/src/bin/maven?r1=1.30&r2=1.31

Currently you cannot use genapp with predefined properties:
$maven -Dtemplate=mytemplate "-Dmaven.genapp.name=My Application" genapp

Please revert this!
