Do you notice how many times I reverted things, changed things, re-reverted things, tried it in a backwards compatible way, reverted, tried again but differently, reverted? I am not kean to do the same with the site or the release notes. I am still trying to provide the behavioral changes in a backwards compatible way so that users can opt in solely based on the POM (properties in the POM). That way there are no behavioral changes and Maven does the "right" thing solely based on information from the POMs it builds. Updating the site, writing release notes etc. is one of the very last steps. Current master still is WIP and will keep changing until everyone agrees to it so that we can release it without anyone getting into trouble. There will be a final version ready for release solving all complaints and issues and there will be documentation and release notes. This will take time.
