Done. It would be a good idea to send an announcement to the Maven mailing list. May I
suggest you use the announcement plugin which automatically generates such
announcement. Simply run "maven announcement -Dmaven.announcement.version=2.4". It'll
generate a txt file in target/
Of course it'll only work if you have dutifully added information in changes.xml...
