With these changes we will be able to close 4 of 7 major Maven EAR Plugin issues (https://issues.apache.org/jira/issues/?jql=project%20%3D%20MEAR%20AND%20res olution%20%3D%20Unresolved%20AND%20priority%20%3E%3D%20Major%20ORDER%20BY%20 priority%20DESC%2C%20updated%20DESC).
