We have many manual task during release - https://maven.apache.org/developers/release/parent-pom-release.html as first step for simplify it I would like to remove manually maintained history - https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MPOM-478 Last release was in November 2023 - five months ago ... In my opinion we should release in a little more often so release should be simple as possible without manually steps -- Sławomir Jaranowski
