Maven 3.9.8 release will happen soon(ish) with some important bug fixes and improvements that were discovered since 3.9.7. See scheduled issues: https://issues.apache.org/jira/issues/?jql=project%20%3D%20MNG%20AND%20fixVersion%20%3D%203.9.8 Maven mvnd m39 was prepped with 3.9.7, but will wait for 3.9.8 to pick up the latest Sisu and other fixes.
