Hi,
A little late as the vote has already closed... Tested on several public
and internal projects, on Windows and macOS. No blocking issues
discovered. +1 from me.
We might want to check how the Maven Daemon is built/packaged/shipped. I
recall they had the same issues as Karl Heinz mentions below, but
nowadays I don't need to un-quarantine Maven Daemon after I installed or
upgraded.

The hints/dialogs can be circumvented by using:
xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine directory-where-maven-has-been-installed
After that you will not get any warnings anymore.
