https://github.com/apache/maven-resolver/pull/2060 was approved and should go in if the tests pass (I just pressed the button to run them which the approver didn;t do.)
There might be other PRs that can go in too. In general, it's useful to check the PR queue before cutting a release candidate. We're leaving a lot of useful work from external contributors on the table. Given the long time between releases -- years for some projects -- we really need to review the PRs and triage the issues as a necessary step before cutting the release. If we could speed up the release cycle, this might not be so important.
