IIRC I did that about a week beforehand - although I could be confused. Anyway, the Maven 1.0 release will be very light on changes. I won't be releasing any plugins unless I did specific work on them and think they are ready.
If anyone has a plugin release they want to do by Maven 1.0, please file a blocking issue in JIRA against maven to release that plugin and we'll hold off any votes or anything until it is done. appserver, webserver, jnlp, eclipse and abbot spring to mind.
