I totally agree with this, but does this apply equally to a property
of a dependency as it applies for a dependency child? I assumed it
didn't and that's why I submitted the patch, but maybe I got a wrong
idea about dependency properties

where can I read more about this maven model? is this 1.0 1.x or m2 ?
