Good to hear that the "recursive dependencies" thing is on Maven 2. It's a very important functionality IMHO.
What I'll do then is continue developing MavenLibrarian internally and use it until Maven 2 comes out. When it does, I'll see if there is need to continue using MavenLibrarian.
Some of the bits from m2 are going to be back ported to m1
but in any case maven1 is not going to diapear from day to day. I bet there will be many people which are not going to switch..
Some of your planned features (e.g. repository searching , sync) will be still useful for users of any version of maven.
