This caught my eye, maybe its the only thing:
-
defaultValue="${maven.cruisecontrol.checkout.dir}/${module}/${relativeMavenBuildDir}/test-reports/"/>
+
defaultValue="${maven.cruisecontrol.checkout.dir}/${pom.artifactId}/${relativeMavenBuildDir}/test-reports/"/>

You're right. I'm having a frustrating morning and not paying enough
attention to what you were saying - sorry. However, the reason I was
confused is that you are still reading the SCM plugin vars from the
cruise control plugin (this requires calling scm:validate to populate).
If this works with both versions, this is what I think is best left
alone for now.

right, reading ahead I see where you are coming from...

Exactly! Sorry if my comments in the code weren't clear enough.

Sounds like we understand each other now and everything is working as
expected.

great!

Yep, it won't take that long :)

Sure, I'm doing some planning today, so maybe we can do that and get a
better roadmap published. There is an early one in core/trunk/xdocs.

No problem, sorry I don't have all the answers just yet :)
