Dave Varon commented on MPSCM-23:
---------------------------------
On OSX 10.3.8, the latest version of cvs available through fink resolves the
issue in scm 1.4:
-----=====-----
$ /sw/bin/cvs -version
Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.17 (client/server)
Copyright (c) 1989-2004 Brian Berliner, david d `zoo' zuhn,
Jeff Polk, and other authors
-----=====-----
The old version, included with xcode tools 1.5 (that's likely where I got it)
is the one mentioned in the previous post:
-----=====-----
$ /usr/bin/cvs -version
Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.10 `Halibut' (client/server)
Copyright (c) 1989-1998 Brian Berliner, david d `zoo' zuhn,
Jeff Polk, and other authors
-----=====-----
For what it's worth, scm 1.5 wouldn't work with cvs 1.10 either.

> Our project goal which uses scm:cvs-checkout-project works on the windows
> machines, but not on my Mac. I'm wondering if it's some sort of mismatch
> between the version of CVS the plugin expects, and the version you get as
> part of a MacOS X 10.3 installation.
