No, it's not that. Arnaud - you've installed the artifact plugin from SVN HEAd, and it seems the dependencies are missing from http://cvs.apache.org/repository/maven/jars/
I'll try and fix that later - you are probably better to use the artifact plugin that came with 1.0.2.
