No failure in Maven 1.0.2. I'll check it in 1.1 separately to this release.
Actually, I need to incoporate the tags from jelly-tags, they aren't
being used so the i18n doesn't work in 1.0.2 yet.

I don't understand why there's a problem with :
<maven:property var="version" name="maven.xdoc.version"
defaultValue="${pom.currentVersion}"/>
This error doesn't appear if we generate the site for maven's core.
Thus, actually I'm against a release (-1)
But if someone succeed to fix this problem before me, you'll have my +1.

The xdoc plugin has grown internationalisation support and
had some other fixes.
Arnaud, are you happy it is ready for release? I see you've
given it a once over since. Is it being tested against Maven 1.0.2?
