Deprecate plugin maven-j2ee-plugin in Maven 1.1 as well?

As indicated on http://maven.apache.org/reference/backwards-compatibility.html,
it's a good thing to remove plugins that aren't maintained anymore or that
offer so little functionality that it's best to script it yourself in maven.xml.
However, in my opinion the plugin maven-j2ee-plugin could also be removed,
because it only has one goal j2ee:validate-war. Additionally there seems to be
a version problem, because the version 1.5.1 indicated on
http://maven.apache.org/reference/plugins/j2ee/goals.html would have 3 plugin
goals, while version 1.5.1 available in Maven only has one goal!
