The JavaServer Faces API and implementation have been open sourced underthe
CDDL license. Project Shale and other projects depend on it.
(Note that the JSF API depends on version 1.2 of the JSP specification. The
project.xml says it depends on version 2.0, which is the only JSP API jar
available in the Maven repository today. I'll talk to some people within Sun to
upload the older JSP API jars to the Maven repository as well. But for the time
being this will already simplify the Shale build. Also expect the reference
implementation jar to arrive this week.)
