Can there be a way to post something in the old location that says versions >x can be found at y? I was just pondering this same issue on some other things (jfreechart/jfreechart vs jfree/jfreechart). I'm thinking something along the lines of readme.txt Otherwise people might find the old location and incorrectly assume that the newer versions aren't posted there. -----Original Message----- From: Brett Porter [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, December 29, 2005 8:14 PM To: Maven Developers List Subject: Re: [m2] groupId for Struts-- relocation? I recommend using o.a.struts for all new versions, and not changing the old ones. This is much less work than the alternatives. The downside is that it won't mediate old versions, if you think this is necessary then you can go ahead and do the relocations in the m2 repo in addition to the above.
