I am quite glad about the changes in MASSEMBLY-25. However, the docs
haven't been updated. Consequently, the docs are now reflecting
deprecated features.
I am ready to submit a patch for the docs. However, before I work these
out, I have a couple of questions:
- What is the policy for adding such patches: Reopen MASSEMBLY-25
or create a new bug?
- The old docs have typically been made for the command line.
Example:
m2 assembly:assembly -DdescriptorId=bin
The example writes a value into the goals property
protected String descriptorId;
My personal impression is, that
m2 assembly:assembly -DdescriptorRefs=bin
wouldn't do, because
private String[] descriptorRefs;
cannot be written to so easily. Is it still possible to
achieve the task from above on the command line without
using a deprecated field?
