I tried yesterday to build a plugin (maven-site) from the branch. The build failed because some snapshots could not be found. I think it was maven-artefact version 2.0.2-SNAPSHOT. I was forced to recompile locally the components.
If you look at http://snapshots.maven.codehaus.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/maven-artifact/, you will not found a 2.0.2-SNAPSHOT version. I found it strange because I see there is continuum build on the branch. Is it located on an other repository? When I mentioned snapshot version for the sources on the branch, I was just meaning the snapshot built from the sources. Sorry for the confusion.
