Hi Dave,
The skins are not released yet. Try to add the following in your
site.xml:
<skin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.skins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-site-skin</artifactId>
<version>1.0-SNAPSHOT</version>
</skin>
