maybe this should be a pre-condition to adding. I want to check that nobody
adds a known JAR under their own group ID.
btw, I'm not sure how the indexing will cope with this in terms of checksums if
it is allowed to be added twice.
Might also try to detect some other similarities when the jars don't match
exactly but are out of place.
