For the ejb plugin I'd also prefer a minor version (1.7.2) and there are
a few problems on the site to fix: the 'Task' menu entry does not exist
and the linkcheck report shows some non-existent test classes in the
checkstyle pages. I think this should be resolved if you use the latest
checkstyle SNAPSHOT.

The EJB plugin has simply a dependency convergence for maven 1.1
(MAVEN-1712). Regarding EAR plugin, it has been updated following the
move of the J2EE plugin to the sandbox so it's now ready.
