Hi Mike, WSR file does not really need to be documented. It's supported as stated on the home page: http://people.apache.org/~snicoll/maven-2/ear/introduction.html
JavaEE5 support is automatically up if you specify '5' as the version attribute. Also documented: http://people.apache.org/~snicoll/maven-2/ear/generate-application-xml-mojo.html Custom artifact types is also documented: http://people.apache.org/~snicoll/maven-2/ear/introduction.html (see the end of the page) That said, documentation is maybe confusing. Do you have any idea to improve? Thanks, Stéphane On 5/8/06, Mike Perham <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Stephane, thanks for including a link to the site docs. Great idea. I don't really see much documentation for the new features except the security stuff. Do the latter three issues need to be documented? If not, you can consider this a +1. -----Original Message----- From: Stephane Nicoll [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, May 08, 2006 1:54 PM To: Maven Developers List Subject: [vote] Release maven-ear-plugin 2.2 Hi, I'd like to call a vote to release the 2.2 version of maven-ear-plugin. There is only one issue left in the MEAR project and I need feedback to resolve it. You can test against maven-ear-plugin-2.2-2060508.184604-1.jar, the staging site is available at http://people.apache.org/~snicoll/maven-2/ear/ We've fixed 2 issues and added a few features for this release, notably: * [MEAR-8] Support of security-role for application.xml generation * [MEAR-18] Support of WSR files * [MEAR-28] Support of Java EE5 for application.xml generation * [MEAR-26] Support of custom artifact's types To get a list of all issues resolved, see: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MEAR?report=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project:roadmap-panel The vote is open for 72 hours. Here's my +1 Thanks, Stéphane -- .::You're welcome ::. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
