Ok, I understand now.
Seemed easier to adopt a new format (modello compliant) than trying to patch the custom parser currently used by maven-changes-plugin....
It shouldn't be that hard really, but I would propose to drop the old format and go with a cleaner, Modello-generated beans and xml reader/writers. The existing code can be used to convert the old changes.xml files to the new format.
