FYI: I will be taking a break from Maven for a couple of months now,
please don't rely on me for pushing anything forward.
There are only very few issues on the roadmap that really need some work
IMO (MAVEN-1767, MAVEN-1755), but that's nothing unsurmountable, so my
feeling is that rc1 could be done in a couple of weeks.
Also, personally, I don't think that we have to include bug-free
versions of every plugin in rc1 or even 1.1-final (that doesn't mean
that we shouldn't try to attempt it!), but we shouldn't repeat the same
'strategy' of the beta-3 release where we were waiting for external
releases for such a long time.
As for a deadline, I don't like deadlines ;) but it's now up to the
people who are actually working on it.
Cheers,
-Lukas

Hi,
I've seen the roadmap for RC1 has been scheduled. Do we already have
some sort of deadline to release 1.1 mid-term?
Thanks,
Stéphane
