No, but once it is introduced expression will be deprecated.

The expression one also allows you to set params on the command line
with -D. Is there a way to do that without expression?

They're the same. The first is preferred, and the second likely to be
deprecated in future.

Well, I was just wondering, what is the difference between:

/**
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
default-value="${project.build.directory}/generated-site/xdoc"
*/
private File outputDirectory;

And

/**
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
expression="${project.build.directory}/generated-site/xdoc"
*/
private File outputDirectory;

Which of the above is the preferred declaration, and why? (since they seem to result in the same variable)

If some documentation about this is available somewhere, please forgive me for not knowing where, and please direct me to the right
place.
Thanks!

Denis
