Log:
[MNG-2246] mojo developer guide takes a shortcut at explaining fully
how the command line can be shortened.
Patch supplied by Jerome Lacoste.
Can I be anal and ask that we use:
Submitted by: NAME
on a new line as exact text for this?
Of course you can :)
I have high hopes of one day
trawling the commit logs to find a list of contributors we've missed
recognising (its not exhaustive, but this will make it a bit better). I
just choose that format since it was in the original CVS template way
back when. I think its documented on the site, but I could be wrong.
No, you're right. Found it now:
http://maven.apache.org/guides/development/guide-m2-development.html#Commit%20Message%20Template
You can edit it with:
svn pe --revprop -r 430523
Close but not quite:
svn pe svn:log --revprop -r 430523
I fixed the commit message for a bunch of commits I made yesterday:
430523, 430528 and 430533. Hope it looks OK now.
