Thanks Jason.  These are much welcome.

1 quick question.   A lot of times the documentation is confusing for the 
plugins as it does not tell what version it applies to.

e.g.

http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-jar-plugin/

I know the documentation was updated today due to the date stamp at the top.  
It sure would be sweet if it told what version of the plugin it was referring 
to.
