I can say for sure for windows, not sure about other OSs.

May be this ought be added to tests or if some cool users on cool macosx and other cooler OSs can test ;-)

this only affects windows users right? and the solution is general

Hi,

Just been talking to Jesse on this one and he reckons this should be
logged on here.

For a Continuum webapp running on Jetty (on Windows) - I noticed that
editing any resources results in files getting locked after the first
time they are saved.

janb on #jetty helped with this reference:
http://docs.codehaus.org/display/JETTY/Files+locked+on+Windows

Though I have patched this locally here, I am wondering if use of memory
mapped files should be disabled in Continuum trunk itself - thoughts?

Cheers,
Rahul
