Figure out how to configure filters in your Yahoo email to direct mail to the right place based on headers (I use the To: info). That's what the rest of us do, I'd assume.
As for your comment about needing an entirely new email list for M1 vs M2... We have a generally agreed-upon notation of using [m1] and [m2] in the subject (in the Maven Users list, at least) and most people use it, so I consider it "successful" and don't know why we'd want/need 2 lists.
