The default is not to overwrite existing artifacts so I can turn

there is a Maven 1.x plugin where there exists a Maven 2.x plugin

messed up. Off the top of my head I don't think this is the case
but again I'm not certain without checking.

I you know a simple way to do such a check it would be nice. I also
don't know about any couple of M1 / M2 plugin with same id, but I
also don't use all thousand artifacts from public repo :-P
Ok, this problem is now fixed in the code. I have also deployed this
code to the central repo so if you and Arnaud can take a peek and see
if it's all better I would appreciate it. Arnaud, this is the mode
that we'll be using once Maven 1.x is using repo1.maven.org so let me
know if you need anything else fixed up.
I also just started the conversion and it takes about 30 minutes to
run so you should be able to see the converted plugins shortly.
