Just warn and continue on its business.
Currently, it appears as if the path gets translated correctly,
but it chokes on the lack of a POM file in the repository (this
may also be an issue with builds that don't have POM files in the
m2 repo, haven't checked).
Just wondering what to file in the bug :)
That it should just ignore it.
Ok, I can file that for starters.
I think we'll need to make clear instructions about setting up a
repository manager to handle this scenario since I bet there are a
lot of people using simple m1 repos internally for their m1 projects.
And notably the Sun m1 repository contains things that are not in
their m2 repo - we need to be converting and syncing that to central
if this feature is gone, IMO.
The thing is that this is not about projects switching to m2, but
their dependencies - and I've seen a bug filed as recently as this
month looking for improved legacy repo support.
Anyway, it's certainly one for the release notes - there used to be a
page on the wiki tracking what has changed in a user-friendly format
but I can't find it. Is it time to start one again?
Thanks,
Brett
