javadoc plugin 2.4

Hello -
 
I was wondering if there was an expected timeframe for the 2.4 release
of the javadoc plugin.  Jira doesn't show any open defects scheduled for
2.4, and a quick perusal of the source didn't turn up any snapshot
dependencies.
