Thanks. I see what you mean about it being broken now as I just get an NPE. I wasn't seeing this yesterday.
I hadn't seen Raphaël's commit before I asked about a release - I had already restored some level of backwards compat to the goal prior to that. I haven't tried the new create method, but I think it's a good idea. The changes I made are still good defaults for the new method IMO.
BTW, has anyone else seen Leopard not always recognising new messages in IMAP folders until you click on them? :)
