Once John gets the assembly plugin sorted out, then we can apply the source
bundle changes and pile on the release.
In the meantime I checked the outstanding issues, closed one, and looks
like what's left are "old wishes", pushed to this version.
MCOMPILER-16 ability to separate compilation parameters for different
compilers / create a compilation configuration object
MCOMPILER-6 improve documentation
MCOMPILER-37 make configuration more flexible, and easier configuration
based on jdk level
MCOMPILER-21 compiler smarts
They are not serious problems that prevent proper operation of the
compiler plugin. Some - especially compiler smarts, require some thought
and should not be done lightly - like tracking file signatures.
I propose to move them into 2.2 version in order to expedite release of
2.1, because Daniel (see beginning of the thread) needs changes, already
made in 2.1-SN.
If there are no objections, I'll do it as soon as assembly plugin is in
shape.
Thanks,
