Any more news on this?

repository.sonatype.org only has released artifacts.

I can't see the grid's configuration to determine where deployment is going.

https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/ doesn't
appear to be updated.

The documentation
http://maven.apache.org/guides/development/guide-testing-development-plugins.html
says

"Development versions of Maven plugins are periodically published to
the repository: http://repository.apache.org/snapshots/.
Note: Currently, this is not done automatically by our continuous
integration setup. This is coming soon."

Are we any closer to completing this?
