I did see MASSEMBLY-553, before I replied. However, there is no SVN URL or
other project attachment that I can use to see the error take place. This
makes it extremely difficult to replicate the problem here.
As I wrote on the JIRA a short while ago, it has an attachment with a
test project that should be sufficient to reproduce the problem.
Keep in mind that I'm not a commons expert. :-)
You don't have to be; AFAICT this is not an issue that is specific to
Commons, although that is where it was discovered.
