Perso I have same issue even with idea :-) Yup maven ide integration doesn't "override" core dependencies with your running core. BTW looks to be an issue with @aggregator and forked lifecycle in javadoc aggregator mojo. I recommend you have a look how this forkedLifecycle is calculated.
