The only IDE that supports incremental behaviour in the core is Eclipse. The latest EAPs of IDEA, however, are starting to use the Eclipse compiler so IDEA may soon be able to leverage them. What we have works as the resources, modello, and plexus plugins have been using these APIs for a couple years.
