I'm interested in such tools: this can help a lot. adding a link in http://maven.apache.org/developers/index.html will be useful to let Maven developers know that such tooling exists for Eclipse
I read "Known problems and limitations Maven Plugin metadata, i.e., META-INF/maven/plugin.xml, is "disappears" in some cases. A partial fix is planned in maven-plugin-plugin 3.3" But I didn't see any Jira issue that seems to handle such an issue What's the problem? Can I help find a solution?
