Only problem I see is that our current logo(s) are very tied to the old
look and feel...
Opposing to all previous proposals. I do not really see an urgent need
for an animal or the link to. If you look up the meaning of Maven [1],
you clearly see that it refers to a well-educated human being.
I think that this needs to evaluated too though I do not know how to
represent this with a graphic.
