Makes sense. But that should be an issue for downstream consumers more so then
a responsibility for upstream, provided it's not "on by default". Having the
option to --enable-cpp11 seems like a win/win policy. Thus folks like myself
can turn on the knob and rebuild the other portions of the stack for a given
distribution.
