Just reiterating my comment from https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-6851?focusedCommentId=16808547&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Acomment-tabpanel#comment-16808547 here for posterity. The Mesos community provides RPM packages; Mesosphere also provides Debian packages and any help moving these into Apache Mesos is likely welcome. Cheers, Benjamin
