Currently a file with a Grok pattern is stored in HDFS and referenced by path in a Zookeeper parser config property. I believe we can simplify this and remove the HDFS dependency by just storing the Grok pattern directly in a Zookeeper parser config property. Does anyone see a problem with doing this?
