Hello,
I have questions:
How can we promote this work to give to this project
the success that it deserves? The MPC library is very promising.
How can we get the TLP project status?
Best Regards,

I'm also interested in figuring out the answer to this question! I see two
references which I believe should be our north star here:
https://www.apache.org/dev/project-requirements and
https://community.apache.org/apache-way/apache-project-maturity-model.html.

I think we already respect many of the criteria there, at least for the
technical side (reproducible builds, code quality...) and that we can
definitely do better on some of them, such as with open communication and
planning.

Use JIRA for any feature you are adding, tag the easy one for new starters. Make PR for any big change or add stuff, give time for reviewer.

Make sure the http://milagro.incubator.apache.org/users.html is updated regularly, the http://milagro.incubator.apache.org/users.html for example needs some care.

I guess a new user misses quick starts, examples etc.

In general, I am hopeful!

I think the code is mature and new releases add more and more features, and
only new opportunities can emerge as we start to communicate it better. The
community can grow - there's definitely more things we can do to become
more welcoming - but at least the page I linked above gives us a clear path
forward.

I will be noting some of the main issues I encountered
as GitHub issues, and I would love to work with you on them. I would also
love to hear from our mentors if we are on the good path, as any suggestion
will help at this point.

I am excited about Milagro and can't wait to see it getting the success it
deserves!

Bye,
Riccardo
