We have three questions to consider regarding bootstrapping milagro infrastructure at apache: - Website - Repos - Bug tracking
First, the website. I put in a request to bootstrap with the Apache CMS. I have heard today that they are currently reluctant to sign up new projects with the CMS. Alternatives are svnpubsub or (apparently, though I don't see a way to request it) gitpubsub. It is possible but not certain the situation with the CMS may be clearer very soon (next week). Should we wait, or get started with svnpubsub? Regarding repos, I presume we want to use git, but we'll need to migrate to Apache git. That can be set up to be visible on github and to accept patches/pull requests from there. Should we go ahead with that? For bug/issue tracking we have a choice of bugzilla or jira. Any strong views one way or the other? -- Nick Kew
