(in advance sorry to disturb the original thread subject) Indeed, SubEthaSMTP is till now using the latest 1.1.x available MINA release, i'm just waiting for the MINA 2.0 release to upgrade. For a more complete POP3 implementation (hausmail doesn't seem to be very active), maybe you should take a look at Mailster ( http://sourceforge.org/projects/mailster/ ), a non intrusive mail testing UI i'm actively developping, which contains it's own nio POP3 server based on MINA (POP3 code has been designed to be very loosely coupled with the main app).
