It's interesting that AbstractIoSession has multiple statistical
variables, ex.: scheduledWriteBytes, readBytes, writtenBytes,
readBytesThroughput, writtenBytesThroughput. Maybe they can be useful
here...
We can also base the system on a Filter, as it will be external to the
core system, be tunable easily, can be modified by users if needed.
I have to think more about such an approach, and see if it's feasible.
