Slightly off-topic, I consider it a bug that UserAuthorization adds the server
XMPP domain to the user name. authorization should be completely semantically
decoupled from the user's JID, even though in the canonical case one would have
a 1:1 relationship between the users JID and the user's authorization principal
name. Maybe we should even think about reintroducing
UserAuthorization.verifyCredentials(String username, ...) or something similar
which is able to support more SASL mechanisms.
